BK Junk Co. ("we," "us," "our") runs bkjunkco.ca. This page explains what personal info we collect through the site, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe. We've tried to keep it in plain English rather than legal jargon, and it lines up with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

When you fill out our Free Quote form, we collect whatever you type in there: your name, phone number, email if you give one, your city or town, a description of the job, and any photos you choose to attach. We don't collect any payment info through the website.

How we use it

We only use it to:

• Get back to you about your quote and schedule the job
• Keep basic records of jobs and requests

We don't sell, rent, or trade your info to anyone. That's not what this is for.

How your request is sent and stored

To run the site and process quote requests, we use a few outside services that handle data on our behalf:

• Cloudflare hosts the website and handles the form submissions.
• Resend delivers your quote request to our email.
• Google Sheets keeps a backup copy of quote requests, and Google Drive stores any photos you attach.
• Cloudflare Turnstile checks that form submissions are coming from real people and not spam bots.

Leaving our site

The Service Area section links out to Google Maps, and the footer links to our Facebook and Instagram, so you can open them in your own maps or social app. We don't control what those sites do with your info once you're there. Everything else on this page, including the fonts, is served directly from our own site.

Cookies and tracking

We don't use ad trackers or tracking cookies on this site. To see how many people visit and which pages they look at, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you personally.

Consent

When you submit the quote form and check the consent box, you're agreeing to let BK Junk Co. contact you by phone, text, or email about your request. This follows Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). You can change your mind and withdraw consent whenever you want, just reach out to us.

How long we keep it

We hang onto quote request info only as long as we actually need it to get back to you and keep basic records, and we'll delete it sooner if you ask.

Want to know what info we have on you, get it corrected, or have it deleted? Just contact us using the info below and we'll take care of it.
