Braedyn and Kyle both work out of Blackstock, which sits in the Township of Scugog. That's not a marketing line, it's just where the truck is parked. When someone in Port Perry or Nestleton calls, we're not adding a travel charge to get out here, because we're already here.
Scugog is big and thinly populated: roughly 475 square kilometres with about 21,600 people, centred on Lake Scugog with Port Perry as the main town. That works out to fewer than 50 people per square kilometre, and it changes what junk removal actually looks like compared to a city job.
Rural properties accumulate differently
Out here it isn't a garage, it's a drive shed, a barn, a back field and three outbuildings. Common questions
Do you charge extra to come out to rural Scugog?
No. We're based in Blackstock, so this is home ground rather than a trip out of our way. Quotes are based on what you need moved and how much work it takes, not on how far down a side road you live.
Can you get down a long or soft laneway?
Usually, yes, and it's worth mentioning when you ask for a quote. We run a truck and trailer, which handles gravel and farm laneways a lot better than a bin delivery truck. If conditions are genuinely too soft we'll work out a spot to load from instead.
Can you help with a barn or full property cleanout?
Yes, that's a good share of what we do out here. Bigger jobs sometimes take more than one load, and we'll tell you up front if that's the case rather than discovering it halfway through the day.
How fast can you get here?
Scugog is the fastest area for us to reach, so same-day is often possible when the schedule allows. Spring and fall around the lake get busy, so a bit of notice helps then.
